Are you interested in volunteering at the Contemporary Art Gallery? We offer many ways for you to get involved, meet new friends and learn new skills. Our volunteers provide support for visitors and special events, serve on committees, assist with curatorial and administrative work, and maintain the Abraham Rogatnick Library, amongst many other duties, and hence provide crucial support to our operation.

If you would like to volunteer, please visit the gallery to drop off your resume or email us at the contact below. Include a cover letter outlining the skills and experience you wish to share with us, as well as the goals you hope to achieve from volunteering at the CAG. Be sure to include your time availability.

The CAG is the longest standing independent public art gallery dedicated to presenting contemporary visual art in Vancouver. We deliver between ten and twenty exciting exhibitions and off-site projects each year, provide an extensive range of learning and public programs for adults, families and children, offer a series of residencies for Canadian and international artists directly contributing to the local scene, and publish insightful catalogues that create a lasting legacy of exhibited work.
