Ming Wong (Singapore, b. 1971) works in Singapore intermittently while maintaining a studio in Berlin. Wong's work usually involves a component of performance; for example, he has produced several films that borrow from cult classics from the 1970's, where he plays a character, and at times all of them. He represented Singapore at the Venice Biennale (2009) with the solo exhibition Life of Imitation, for which he received honourable mention.
