Sarah Lucas (U.K., b. 1962) is an artist who came to prominence during the decade aggrandized in the art world as the YBA's (Young British Artists), spanning the late 1980's into the mid-1990's. Her work is blunt, sexual, confident and experimental in her use of materials; her public face is unapologetic, poetic and honest. She lives and works in the UK.
