Kara Uzelman

Kara Uzelman is a Vancouver based artist, who has worked extensively both collaboratively and independently. Since 2002 she has shown work in numerous group and solo exhibitions including Group Group Show, VCA Lawrence Eng Gallery, Melbourne (2008); Working Back, Belkin Satelite, Vancouver (2007); Sommer & Kohl, Berlin (2008-2009); and has been highlighted in both local and national publications, including Boarder Crossings (Spring 2006). Uzelman graduated with her Bachelor in Fine Arts, from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 2004. Her art practice both individually and collaboratively examines the psychological residue latent in material objects.
