YOUNG-HAE CHANG HEAVY INDUSTRIES

YOUNG-HAE CHANG HEAVY INDUSTRIES, formed in 1999, is a collaborative project between South Korean artist Young-Hae Chang and American artist Marc Voge. Since their convergence as a formal body, they have concerned themselves exclusively with web art, involving moving text synchronized to music. Specifically, YHCHI uses streaming media and audio in order to maximize the Internet’s capabilities and broaden their viewing audience. Having been presented in various languages, including English, Korean, French, German, Japanese and Swedish, their work reaches audiences worldwide.
