New York City performance artist Andrea Fraser (USA, b.1965) came to international attention in the late eighties with works such as Damaged Goods Gallery Talk Starts Here (1986) and Museum Highlights (1989). Fraser's practice is commonly situated within the framework of Institutional Critique. She lectures extensively,  publishes in academic journals and has written art reviews.
